About Kerry

Kerry Melachouris
Kerry Melachouris is a seasoned actor, singer, and dancer (SAG-AFTRA / AEA) with years of experience in film and theater. Known for her versatile roles and captivating performances, she brings characters to life with authenticity — whether under stage lights or in front of the camera.
Beyond the stage, Kerry is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) and a certified coaching instructor (CCI). That rare depth of human insight informs every role she takes on: she understands people — what drives them, what breaks them, and what makes them worth watching.
Kerry trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and holds a B.A. in Theatre Arts (Acting) from California State University, Long Beach. Her range runs from Shakespeare's Countess in All's Well That Ends Well to Ms. Lynch in Grease — decades of musical theatre across Southern California's stages, television appearances on ABC's Scandal and TLC, and a soprano voice with belt and pop. She speaks Greek, dances jazz, tap, and hip hop, and figure skates.
Her path through nursing and psychiatric care isn't a side story — it's part of the same craft: understanding people. As a CCI-certified coach she helps others navigate pressure and recovery, a journey she has shared openly as a featured guest on the Behind the Bite podcast.
